A workspace is your company’s Surfaice environment: users, roles, connectors, skills, saved work, and audit history for that customer.

What lives in a workspace

  • Account and role assignments
  • Connector configurations your IT team approved
  • Skills and instructions tuned for your workflows
  • Items users explicitly save (for example a reviewed lease abstract)
  • Audit and agent-run logs

What does not live in a workspace by default

Surfaice is not a new system of record. It does not keep a bulk mirror of your mailboxes, SharePoint libraries, or lease admin databases. Context for a task is assembled at run time from systems you already own, under your existing permissions. See Data handling for what persists versus what is ephemeral.

Switching and access

Most users belong to a single customer workspace. If you cannot see expected projects or connectors, your role or connector entitlements may be limited — contact your Surfaice admin.
