# Surfaice documentation

> Product documentation for Surfaice — AI agents for retail store development and lease administration.

Surfaice is an AI operating layer for retail real estate teams. It sits on top of the systems you already use — lease admin platforms, SharePoint, email, project tools — and helps your team abstract leases, reconcile **CAM** (common area maintenance) charges, track critical dates, and move store-development work forward **without replacing your systems of record**.

**Hugo** is the AI agent inside Surfaice — the assistant you chat with at [agent.surfaice.pro](https://agent.surfaice.pro). You ask questions in plain language; Hugo reads the systems your workspace has connected (under your permissions), runs repeatable **skills** when you need a workflow, and drafts work for your team to review.
