# Skills

> Skills are named Surfaice workflows — reusable Hugo playbooks for lease admin, store development, estimating, and reporting.

A **skill** is a packaged workflow Hugo can run repeatedly: instructions, tools, inputs, and expected outputs tailored to your team's process.

Your workspace includes the catalog provisioned for your organization — typically dozens of skills for lease and store-development work — plus any company-wide or user-authored skills. The broader Surfaice platform maintains a large skill library across customer templates; **not every skill in these docs appears in every workspace**.

## How to run a skill

1. Open the **Skills** panel (Built-in, Company-wide, Workspace, or Catalog tabs)
2. Click a skill, use `/skill-name` in chat, or describe the task naturally
3. Provide inputs — store number, date range, PDF attachment
4. Review output and save only what you accept
